Feeling inspired by Martin Luther King Day and amidst the hateful rhetoric surrounding the 2017 election, I envisioned a modern way to gain a better understanding of the history of this country and the world. An online platform, Talk That Talk, would allow users to listen and engage with scholars around famous speeches throughout the ages as read by celebrities or in the original voice as available.
